No — and we are direct about this at consultation. Fat reduction devices target localised deposits in people who are already near their healthy weight. They reduce fat cell count in a specific area; they do not affect overall body weight or visceral fat. Patients who combine these treatments with healthy habits see the best and most lasting outcomes.

Most protocols involve 3–6 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart. We assess after the third session. Fat freezing results build over 8–12 weeks as the body naturally eliminates treated cells, so we wait before making decisions about additional sessions.

Eliminated fat cells do not regenerate — in that sense, yes. However, remaining fat cells in the area can still expand with weight gain. Maintaining a stable weight after treatment preserves results long-term. We discuss realistic expectations honestly at every stage.
